SESRIC, in collaboration with the United Nation Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), will organize a capacity building training programme on the Role of South-South & Triangular Cooperation (SS&TC) in Implementing the 2030 Agenda. The training will take place on 20-22 June 2018 in the historical city of Istanbul, Turkey.
The aim is to develop the capacities and skills of the participants coming from Technical Cooperation Agencies (TCAs) of the OIC Countries. They will have the change to effectively apply South-South & Triangular Cooperation in their own countries.
The training will specifically focus on the areas of rural development and reproductive, maternal and newborn health. This will support the advancing of national development priorities and the implementation of the OIC-2025 Programme of Action and 2030 Agenda.
At the end of the training, participants will be able to understand the foundations and the modalities of the SS&TC approach in the context of the Agenda 2030 and be familiar with the most recent tools and methods in the area of SS&TC.
